Job Purpose
To lead a Team of Software Developers to design, build, test and implement in-house complex
business applications or modify/upgrade existing business software applications to meet key business goals (develop new products, improve time to market, straight through processing, easy reconciliation, etc.) as opposed to customization or implementation of off-the-shelf core systems which is expensive and takes longer time to go to market.
Main Responsibilities
- Gathering and analyzing data to establish system requirements.
- Developing working plans and estimates as they relate to systems integration work to tasks and team members.
- Researching, evaluating, and recommending systems/equipment/technologies based upon user requirements and ICT system enterprise architecture in place.
- Drafting technical instructions, engineering plans, technical designs, and other system integration related documents.
- Interfacing with various internal & external team members such as system users, IT systems administrators and support staff on regular basis during integration work.
- Developing and conducting testing plans and procedures based upon system requirements.
- Providing users and systems with post-installation and integration support.
- Manage and/or provide guidance to junior members of the team.
- Identify systems deficiencies and implement effective solutions.
- Communicate and enforce coding standards.

- Strong systems diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possession of at least a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
- Accredited Certification with at least 5 years’ experience in a formal Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) environment.
- Professional certification in Project Management and ICT Service Management (ITIL) is an added advantage.
- Experience in windows service and Web Based solutions, Web/WAP and mobile development, Relational Database design and creation.
