A School Development Officer is needed to manage the school’s fund-raising strategy, to coordinate alumni relations and events, to manage the school’s online presence in social media, and to promote the school through online and print media. The successful applicant must be a Tanzanian citizen who is fluent in English and Swahili, is familiar with social media platforms and analytics, is proficient in computer use, has experience in writing grants, organising large events or courses, is confident in managing big donors and corporations, and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, International Relations, Business Management or related fields or 3 years’ experience in a similar role

2018/19 School YearWe are seeking applications for this teaching position which starts on 1st August 2018.
Learning Support TeacherA learning support teacher to coordinate all learning support provided to students on one campus. This teacher will also work with individual students and small groups to implement their individual education plans. Qualifications and experience in this area are essential. Previous experience of the IB programmes would be an advantage but is not required.

It is important to include details of any family members who may accompany you; we are unlikely to offer employment to a spouse unless as part of a teaching couple and local employment opportunities are extremely limited. Current Tanzanian regulations mean that we are only able to consider teachers under fifty five years of age who have a minimum of three years’ teaching experience.
As a minimum requirement, all applicants for teaching positions must have a first degree and a teaching qualification that entitles them to teach in their home country. International teaching experience is also desired.
