Job description
ACDI/VOCA is currently seeking Marketing Specialists for upcoming Service Learning Corps Assignments in Tanzania. Local businesses in the rice industry are requesting volunteer assistance to develop marketing plans and create competitive branding. The plans will address a number of issues, including identifying markets, establishing prices, and branding and advertising, among others. These assignments will last for 3 months between May and August 2018.
Provisions for the Volunteer:
All international and local travel, Lodging and Meals, Business Visa, Medical Evacuation Insurance, In-country support from field office staff Local cell phone to use during assignment
Qualifications
- Graduate/Ph.D. student or recent graduate in Marketing, Business Administration or other related program.
- At least 2-4 years of work experience, preferably in business, marketing or advertising
- Proficient computer skills including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- The volunteer should be prepared to live in rural communities
- Previous experience working in Africa is preferred but not required.
